Where these rankings come fromThe weapon order, gear sets and Potential verdicts on this tab are prydwen.gg’s, measured in play and condensed to a sentence each. Relative damage figures are ratios against the bottom of each ranking, not absolute numbers, and each one holds only for the Potential and team its row states. Everything else (base stats, skill text, material totals) is read from the game’s own data.

CoreLYNX

LYNX raises Ember's healing output and gives her and the team a strong defensive three-piece bonus plus extra energy for faster Ultimates, though maxing sustain isn't the only way to build her.

3PC3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP Treatment Efficiency +20%. After the wearer gives HP treatment to an allied target, that target also gains 15% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG for 10s. If the said treatment exceeds the target's Max HP, the target gains 30% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG. The aforementioned effects cannot stack.

    Nomadic Fort

This Potential raises Ember's Protection effect from 50% to 70% and lets it linger briefly after a Combo or Battle Skill hit, helping her survive in teams chasing her Battle Skill's extra Stagger, but it does little elsewhere.

    In game

Talent Inflamed for the Assault improved: Protection effect +20%; hitting an enemy extends the duration by 1.5s.

  • P3

    Indomitable Front

This Potential lets Ember's Combo Skill heal extend beyond the main field operator, also healing the team's lowest-HP operator for 50% of that amount, a major upgrade to how well she can sustain the team.

    In game

Combo skill Frontline Support improved: Restores the HP of another teammate with the lowest percentage HP at 50% of the base effect.

  • P5

    The Steel Oath

This Potential multiplies Ember's Ultimate shield amount by 1.2 and adds a small ATK% boost on top.

    In game

Ultimate Re-Ignited Oath improved: Shield effect is multiplied by 1.2; while this shield is active, the wielder gains ATK +10%.

Every Potential Ember has, in full, is on the Kit tab. This is only which of them are worth the pulls.

Teams

Mi Fu team

Physical · Vulnerable and CrushStands in for Ardelia

Mi Fu groups and Crushes in the same rotation, so Physical finally has an answer to multi-enemy stages without giving up its burst. Chen Qianyu builds the Vulnerable stacks fast enough that the squad rarely waits on them, and the fourth slot flexes between Pogranichnik’s SP and Ardelia’s healing depending on what the stage needs.

Da Pan team

Physical · Lift into CrushStands in for Ardelia

Da Pan carries both halves of the Physical loop, Lift to stack Vulnerable and Crush to spend it, which is rare enough at 5-star to build a squad around. Chen Qianyu doubles the stacking rate, and the last two slots flex between SP and healing depending on the stage.

Ember FAQ

What attribute is Ember?
Ember is a 6-star Heat operator of the Defender class, from Order of Steel Oath, wielding a Great Sword, released in version 1.0.
What stat does Ember scale on?
Ember's skills multiply ATK. That is read from the scaling rows on the Battle Skill and Ultimate, not from the skill description, so it reflects what the game actually multiplies rather than what the text mentions.
What is the best weapon for Ember?
Thunderberge is the closest fit on the data: it is a 6-star Great Sword with 495 base ATK at level 90, and its skills act on ATK. Industry 0.1 is the best 4-star alternative.
Which gear set should Ember use?
LYNX. Its 3-piece effect is: 3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP Treatment Efficiency +20%. The 3-piece effect is the only set bonus a gear set has, and it needs three matching pieces; an operator equips four in all (Armor, Gloves and two Kits), so the fourth is free for an off-set piece.
How much does it cost to max Ember's skills?
Taking one combat skill from level 1 to 12 costs 172,200 T-Creds and 21× Blighted Jadeleaf among other materials. The Materials tab lists every item per level.
What does Ember P1 do?
Nomadic Fort: Talent Inflamed for the Assault improved: Protection effect +20%; hitting an enemy extends the duration by 1.5s.
