To farm in Endfield 1.6, unlock the farm next to Yuanyuan Manor in Si’s Painting (Wuling) through Si’s inn tutorial, craft each plot from 1 seed and 1 carbon, set the plots in blocks of four around one Sprinkler fed by a single pump, and let the Auto-Farmer germinate and harvest them. The farm takes 50 plots, both plot panels shown in the video yield 30 crops per harvest, and the inn’s Pantry Shop sells seeds at 10 per pack of ten.
This guide is built on IWinToLose Gaming’s 13-minute farming video, uploaded October 16, 2026, the day after version 1.6 went live. Names and numbers are read off the game screens in his footage, not from the auto captions, which hear “Yajin” for Yazhen, “Su” for Si and “zerite” for Xiranite. His advice is credited to him, and every count is checked against this site’s own map, events and blueprint data. What the screen does not show, such as the name of the inn’s currency, is said to be missing rather than guessed. The version itself, its banners and its other events are covered in our 1.6 Special Program summary.
Why farm in Endfield 1.6?
IWinToLose gives two reasons: healing items and the inn. The first is Yazhen Spray [S], a Tactical item. Its tooltip reads: “Use this to restore 5% Max HP per second plus 391 HP. Duration: 6s.” Once equipped, it fires on its own on any operator who falls below 50% HP, up to 3 times per battle, with no limit when it supports the operator you control, and its uses come back after they run out.
The chain behind it is short. In the EMS F&M crafting tab, 1 plant makes 2 Thorny Yazhen Powder, a weaker Tactical item (5% Max HP per second plus 320 HP for 6 seconds, same trigger rules). The plant is unlabeled in the frame; IWinToLose calls it Thorny Yazhen.
In the Fine F&M tab, 5 Thorny Yazhen Powder plus 10 of a bottled item (its name is not shown; IWinToLose owns 87.5K of it) make 1 Yazhen Spray [S]. That puts one Spray at 2.5 plants. The flat part of the heal goes from 320 to 391 HP; the 5% per second is the same.
IWinToLose says the plant is “only farmable”. Our interactive map disagrees: it lists 109 wild Thorny Yazhen nodes across Wuling, 33 of them in Wuling City, 26 in Marker Stone and 16 in Snowy Forest. The farm is about volume, not access: hand-picking a hundred nodes is the chore the Auto-Farmer replaces. Plain Yazhen, the other Wuling plant (531 nodes on the map), feeds factory lines instead, such as the Yazhen Syringe [C] line at 6 per minute in this Wuling and Jingyu Valley blueprint. The second reason, the inn, gets its own section below.
How do you unlock the farm in Si’s Painting?
By finishing the start of Si’s inn storyline. IWinToLose’s order is: clear the new 1.6 main story mission, take the yellow world quest to help Si open her inn, then follow its tutorial quests, which unlock automated planting. His own on-screen note hedges the first step with “(i think)”. Our Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves event page is more precise, per Game8: the inn opens after the main mission Chapter II Process VIII “Paint with Fresh Ink” and the side mission “A Painting Open for Business”, which doubles as the tutorial. The guide event All the Inky Hues starts in the same chapter.
Throughout the footage his quest tracker reads “Yuanyuan Innkeeper III: Meet the requirements for Inn Rating Level 4”, with an optional line that sums up this guide: “Use the Farm and Ranch to acquire food ingredients.” Si’s Painting is an area of Wuling; our map data predates 1.6, so it has no zone page of its own yet.
How do you craft plots, carbon and seeds?
Every plot is crafted, not bought. Open Backpack, then Crafting, then the Planting tab. An Oilseed Bloom Plot, a “Basic Facility”, costs 1 Oilseeds and 1 carbon, and the other plots on the list follow the same pattern: Sourberry, Relishroom, Ballpea, Crunchcane, Amber Rice, Tartpepper and Reed Rye, with Pingtuber, Matoberry, Cabbage and Whitemelon plots further down. The flavor text promises soil “far better than that of the average arable land in Wuling.”
Carbon comes from a Refining Unit. Its formula list shows three “Carbon Production” recipes, each taking 1 plant and running 2 seconds: two give 1 carbon, one gives 2. The plants have no labels, but their icons match the Buckflower and Sandleaf inputs on the Seed-Picking list, and the 2-carbon one looks like Yazhen, which fits IWinToLose naming “sand leaf, yajin and buckflower”. He links the output to a Protocol Stash so the carbon lands in the depot.
Seeds come from a Seed-Picking Unit (Power Use 10). On screen it turns 46 Whitemelon into Whitemelon Seeds at 1 crop for 2 seeds every 2 seconds.
The first formula page lists Whitemelon, Buckflower, Citrome, Sandleaf, Aketine, Jincao (1 to 1, the only one that does not double), Yazhen and Reed Rye. The second, shown at 3:20, adds Matoberry Seeds, Cabbage Seeds, Crunchcane Cutting, Ballpea Seeds, Relishroom Spores, Sourberry Seeds and Oilseeds, all 1 to 2. IWinToLose’s rule of thumb: “roughly 20 of each seed will be more than enough”, and you “won’t need more than 10 of any individual plant… four is probably enough.”
Put together, here is every farm crop the video shows, with where its seed comes from on screen and how many plots IWinToLose recommends.
| Plot | Seed item | Pantry Shop | Seed-Picking Unit | IWinToLose’s plots |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oilseed Bloom | Oilseeds | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | Not in his table |
| Whitemelon | Whitemelon Seeds | 10 per x10 | Yes, 1 to 2 | 3 |
| Sourberry | Sourberry Seeds | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3, plus 3 enhanced |
| Relishroom | Relishroom Spores | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3, plus 3 enhanced |
| Cabbage | Cabbage Seeds | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3, plus 3 enhanced |
| Ballpea | Ballpea Seeds | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3 |
| Crunchcane | Crunchcane Cutting | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3 |
| Matoberry | Matoberry Seeds | 10 per x10 | Yes (page 2) | 3 |
| Pingtuber | Pingtuber Cutting | 10 per x10 | Not shown | 3 |
| Amber Rice | Amber Rice Seeds | 10 per x10 | Not shown | Not in his table |
| Reed Rye | Reed Rye seed | Not shown | Yes | 3 |
| Tartpepper | Not shown | Not shown | Not shown | 3 |
Tartpepper is the gap. Its seed is on neither screen, and wild Tartpepper on our map grows only in Valley IV: 12 nodes in Originium Science Park and 5 in Origin Lodespring.
Where do you buy seeds, and what do they cost?
From “Witty”, the Pantry Shop vendor inside the inn in Si’s Painting. IWinToLose expects the shop to open partway through the inn tutorial and calls the seeds “pretty cheap”, which the price list bears out.
The Backyard Use tab, as shown at 12:45. Every row has unlimited stock. The currency icon is not named on screen; IWinToLose holds 386 of it.
| Item | Pack | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Bumper-Supreme | x10 | 500 |
| Bumper-Speed | x10 | 200 |
| Double-Yummy Feed | x3 | 150 |
| Yummy Feed | x3 | 50 |
| Oilseeds, Whitemelon Seeds, Sourberry Seeds, Relishroom Spores, Ballpea Seeds, Crunchcane Cutting, Cabbage Seeds, Amber Rice Seeds, Matoberry Seeds, Pingtuber Cutting | x10 each | 10 each |
Two more rows sit below, at Stock 0 with a “-90%” tag, cut off by the frame. What Bumper-Supreme and Bumper-Speed do is not shown. A “Store in regional depot first” box is ticked, so purchases go straight to the depot.
What is the best sprinkler layout?
Four plots per Sprinkler. The Sprinkler sits under AIC Facilities, Miscellaneous, next to the Fluid Supply Unit: Power Use 10, “A facility that sprays fluids in a fixed direction.” IWinToLose says it is built from “fairium parts”, most likely Ferrium Part, which this midgame blueprint makes at 90 per minute; the recipe itself is not on screen. His advice is to craft 20 to 50 and stop counting.
The layout: place two plots side by side, then two more under them, leaving a one-tile gap between the lower pair. Plots may now touch, which is what makes it compact.
The Sprinkler goes in that gap, facing up, and waters all four. IWinToLose contrasts it with the old setup of one Sprinkler per two plots: half the facilities for the same field. Rotate the block and paste copies side by side, then power them with Xiranite Pylons.
Once water reaches the Sprinklers, the plots start on their own. IWinToLose credits the Auto-Farmer, his “auto planter version 1.6 machine”, for germinating them without a click. Right after watering, his Amber Rice timers read 03:59:59, so Amber Rice takes about four hours a cycle.
The game also hints at keeping one crop per block. A Relishroom plot shown later carries a “No Green Touch” chip and the line “Not connected to plots of the same crop. No Green Touch available.” What Green Touch adds is not shown in the video.
How do you set up the full 50-plot farm?
Repeat the four-plot block across the field. IWinToLose places it by hand in Si’s Painting because, he says, blueprints cannot be used in the farming area. The Blueprints button is visible in his farm view, but he never tries it there.
His crop list is 13 entries at 3 plots each: Pingtuber, Matoberry, Crunchcane, Ballpea, Whitemelon, Reed Rye, Tartpepper, Cabbage, Cabbage A, Relishroom, Relishroom A, Sourberry and Sourberry A. That is 39 of the 50 plots, and “just two to four of each type of plant is all that you’re going to need.” His own field runs a few extras, Oilseed Bloom and Pingtuber among them; of the Pingtubers he says “I certainly won’t need this many potatoes”, and he treats every plot as a placeholder to swap later.
Water needs one fluid pump; his is acid-resistant. One is enough however many Sprinklers you run, he explains, because Sprinklers are not always spraying and refill while the crops grow. The field then runs itself: the Auto-Farmer germinates, the Sprinklers water and the harvest is collected automatically. The power bar holds 7.66K of 9.8K at 100%.
How do you turn Reed Rye into Flour?
Put it through a Shredding Unit. A Reed Rye Plot gives 30 Reed Rye per harvest, and the item lists two other sources: an Ingredients Crate at “Originium Science Park: Cliffside Trail” and “Plant crops at the Eco-Farm”. Wild Reed Rye is rare: our map has 4 nodes, all in Originium Science Park. Four wild nodes against 30 per plot per harvest makes the farm the only practical source.
According to IWinToLose, Reed Rye itself goes into few inn recipes (“maybe just for like one recipe”), while Flour goes into most. Shredding Units cannot be placed in the farming area, he says, so he runs a small one in his main factory area. The Shredding Unit (Power Use 5) turns 1 Reed Rye into 3 Flour every 2 seconds. Flour’s own text: “A product of AIC Factory processing. Can be used to cook food in the Innkeeping gameplay.” Three plots therefore give 90 Reed Rye, or 270 Flour. On the inn’s recipe screen, Salted Cheese Crackers take 3 of the Flour sack per dish and Pea-Topped Noodles take 6.
How do you grow enhanced crops with Xiranite gas?
Place a Gas Dispersing Unit beside the plots. Three crops change in its gas, by IWinToLose’s count so far: Sourberry, Cabbage and Relishroom. He calls the results Cabbage A, Relishroom A and Sourberry A; the game’s names for the enhanced crops are not on screen. He says the option unlocks “after level three or so” of the inn. The gas comes from a vent next to the farm, piped through a Conduit Inlet or Outlet; his overlay writes “Xiragen”, but the game’s own label is Xiranite.
On an enhanced plot the panel adds a “Xiranite ENV” tag and a green “Refined” chip; the harvest is still 30. IWinToLose thinks six units is enough and eight fit with care, and his layout leaves room for 12. Only two are on screen. His spacing tip: leave a three-tile gap between the bottom row and the second row of plots for the units. Doing the same at the top may cost you two plots, leaving 48.
How does the Ranch work?
The Ranch at Yuanyuan Manor raises beasts that produce ingredients while they are fed. IWinToLose’s Pen holds two Meaty Slugs, two Burdenbeasts and a Sable-chested Fowlbeast, and his Pond two Rainbow Fins. Each beast shows two products, filled to 30 of 480 and 15 of 240. An empty slot costs 1,500 to purchase, and Auto-Feed costs 2,000 to unlock, both in the inn’s unnamed currency.
Two feeds exist. The game text: “Beasts raised at Yuanyuan Manor Backyard can be fed with beast feed to improve both their Satiety and Happiness. Beasts will continuously yield quality products when both their Satiety and Happiness are higher than ZERO.” Double-Yummy Feed raises both Satiety and Happiness.
The Beast Details panel spells out the split: “Yummy Feed raises beast Satiety, allowing them to continuously yield normal produce. Double-Yummy Feed raises beast Happiness and Satiety, allowing them to continuously yield quality produce.” A Meaty Slug makes Meat at 10 per hour up to 480 and Meat [A] at 5 per hour up to 240, so both shelves take 48 hours to fill from empty. Its Satiety and Happiness each show 20:40:13.
IWinToLose says Double-Yummy Feed unlocks around inn level two or three and is expensive early but affordable once the inn earns well. At 150 for 3 against 50 for 3, it costs three times as much per bag.
What does the farm feed in Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves?
The inn, which is the other half of IWinToLose’s case for farming. He describes the event as an “Overcooked”-style mode where you serve customers, and a full farm means “no ingredient anxiety”. The Event Center lists Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves as a Fun & Games Event with 40d 14h left and 6d 1h “before next phase begins”, and explains: “This permanent gameplay feature has limited-time innkeeping missions that will become unavailable when the mission expires. The gameplay itself remains accessible.”
Counting 40 days 14 hours from an October 15 or 16 recording lands on November 25 or 26, the two close dates the wiki and Game8 give; Gryphline only says “until before the next version update”, so our events calendar leaves it undated. The event page there lists 1,000 Oroberyl and Marks of Perseverance, which fits the 1K icon. The inn is Si’s: her line on our Si page is “Remember to pay up once we get back to the inn.” Her Rejuvenation banner runs to November 5, 2026, per our banners page.
The recipe screen shows 18 dishes with cook times of 15, 25 or 40 seconds, each built from farm and ranch icons: Berry-Sweet Sip, Hot & Sour Soup, Roasted Kebab, Melon in Sauce, Mato & Egg, Meaty Pilaf and more. The number beside each dish is not labeled, so it is not quoted here.
For a full farm built around the inn’s ingredient list, plot by plot, see KyoStinV’s Yuanyuan Inn auto-farm layout.
What should you check every day?
Three storages, in IWinToLose’s routine: the Wuling City Auto-Farmer, the Si’s Painting Auto-Farmer and the Si’s Painting Ranch. Open each “pretty much once a day or so” and press Store in Wuling Depot so the storage does not clog. The “every day” is his habit; no daily limit or timer is shown.
The game’s description: “The Auto-Farmer is a facility manufactured by Endfield Industries to automate agricultural production. Upgrading an Auto-Farmer to the required levels will let it perform actions such as Auto-Germination and Auto-Harvest.” IWinToLose’s Si’s Painting Auto-Farmer is Level 3 and already shows “Auto-Germinating & Auto-Harvesting”, holding 30 Whitemelon.
The second Auto-Farmer stands at the Agricultural Test Site in Wuling City, at Level 4 MAX. Its storage holds 340 of one red-leaved plant (six stacks of 50, plus 10 and 30), which IWinToLose calls Thorny Yazhen. At 2 powders per plant and 5 powders per Spray, that is 136 Yazhen Spray [S], provided you have 1,360 of the bottle item. He also says that around inn level two you can upgrade what he calls “this seed picker thing” and unlock the one in Wuling, up to max; the level requirements are not shown.
The payoff, on the last screen: “Acquired: Yazhen Powder × 10, Yazhen Spray [S] × 5”. The pickup calls it Yazhen Powder, while the crafting screen says Thorny Yazhen Powder; the icon is the same.
Steps
- Unlock the farm. Clear the 1.6 main story up to Si’s inn, then follow the inn tutorial quests in Si’s Painting until the plot-placement farm next to Yuanyuan Manor opens. It holds 50 plots.
- Make carbon and seeds. Feed a plant such as Sandleaf or Buckflower into a Refining Unit for carbon, and crops into a Seed-Picking Unit for seeds (1 crop gives 2 seeds in 2 seconds), or buy seeds at the inn’s Pantry Shop for 10 per pack of ten.
- Craft the plots. Open Backpack, Crafting, Planting, and craft each plot from 1 seed and 1 carbon. IWinToLose plants about three plots of each crop.
- Place plots in blocks of four. Put two plots side by side, two more below them with a one-tile gap between, and a Sprinkler in that gap facing up, so one Sprinkler waters four plots. Repeat the block side by side.
- Pipe water and power. Run one fluid pump’s pipe to every Sprinkler and power the block with Xiranite Pylons. The Auto-Farmer then germinates and harvests on its own.
- Empty the Auto-Farmers every day. Open the Auto-Farmer in Si’s Painting and in Wuling City, and the Ranch, and press Store in Wuling Depot so their storage never fills.

Frequently asked questions
How do you unlock farming in Endfield 1.6?
Finish the start of Si’s inn storyline in Si’s Painting (Wuling). As of October 18, 2026, our events page, citing Game8, puts the inn after main mission Chapter II Process VIII “Paint with Fresh Ink” and the side mission “A Painting Open for Business”; IWinToLose adds that the inn’s tutorial quests unlock the automated farm next to Yuanyuan Manor.
How many plots can you place on the Endfield 1.6 farm?
Fifty. The placement counter on the Si’s Painting farm reads 49 of 50 in IWinToLose’s video of October 16, 2026. He suggests about three plots of each crop, 39 in all, and warns that leaving room for Gas Dispersing Units may cut the field to 48.
How many plots does one Sprinkler water in Endfield?
Four, in the 1.6 layout IWinToLose shows: two plots side by side, two below them with a one-tile gap, and the Sprinkler in that gap facing up. He compares it with the older setup of one Sprinkler per two plots. A Sprinkler uses 10 power.
Where do you get seeds in Endfield 1.6?
From a Seed-Picking Unit, which turns 1 crop into 2 seeds every 2 seconds (Jincao gives 1), or from the Pantry Shop vendor “Witty” in the Si’s Painting inn, which sold ten seed types at 10 per pack of ten in footage from October 16, 2026.
How do you make Flour in Endfield?
Put Reed Rye in a Shredding Unit: 1 Reed Rye makes 3 Flour every 2 seconds, at Power Use 5. A Reed Rye Plot yields 30 per harvest, so three plots give 270 Flour. IWinToLose says Shredding Units cannot be placed in the farming area, so build one in a factory area.
How do you craft Yazhen Spray [S] in Endfield?
Craft 2 Thorny Yazhen Powder from 1 Thorny Yazhen plant in the EMS F&M tab, then combine 5 powders with 10 bottles in the Fine F&M tab for 1 Yazhen Spray [S]. It restores 5% Max HP per second plus 391 HP for 6 seconds and auto-triggers below 50% HP, 3 times per battle.
What is the difference between Yummy Feed and Double-Yummy Feed?
Yummy Feed raises a beast’s Satiety for normal produce; Double-Yummy Feed raises Satiety and Happiness for quality produce, such as Meat [A]. At the Pantry Shop on October 16, 2026, Yummy Feed cost 50 and Double-Yummy Feed 150 per pack of three.
